One of the outcomes of unveiling the purposes and structures of the sūras of the Qur'an is finding one's way into new scientific propositions. The method for structural study of sūras is a new model of scholarly study of the Qur'an which has drawn little attention so far. Through recounting the methods for inference of scientific proposition from the Holy Qur'an, this article undertakes to elucidate and explicate the structural method.
It proceeds to display the efficiency of this method in practice through a case study of the principle of religious convergence in the structure of Sūrat Āl-i ‘Imrān.
