The major part of this book contains the translation of several Arabic writings, and the final parts are dedicated to the author’s articles, lectures, and interviews concerning various Qur’anic issues. The reviewer has first pointed out certain exegetical fundamentals and principles used by the author and then reviewed his viewpoints accordingly. In this respect, “semantics of the Qur’anic terms” and “explanation of miracles” are the most important issues which are analyzed hereby. Among other issues touched upon in this review are: the difference between revelation and inspiration; the detached letters; the features of interpretation by personal opinion; historical-Qur’anic viewpoints, the orientalists’ opinions, etc. In the end, certain aspects of the author’s innovations and novel viewpoints together with the relevant examples are introduced.
