In this writing, single words with opposite meanings, which are part of homonyms in Arabic philology used in the Qur’an are reviewed. 12 examples of such words are given and their literal meanings and their application in the Qur’an are analyzed and the viewpoints of philologists and interpreters in this respect are touched upon.
