In this article, the science of Revelation, which is among critical topics of the Qur’anic sciences, is reviewed with reference to the Qur’an and the traditions of Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.). In this line, seven outlooks on the Revelation of the Qur’an as being descended in the Night of Qadr are pointed out. Then, the status of the Qur’an before and after revelation as well as descriptions given in the verses of the Qur’an on these two periods are analyzed.
