This article intends to explain Tabrisi’s method in the interpretation of verses. According to this research, among the features noted in the tafsir of “Majma’ al-Bayan” are comprehensiveness, topical organization, modesty in utilization of traditions, fair-mindedness in narration, criticism of opinions and views, as well as attention to occasion of revelation. The other part of the article talks about the interpretation foundations of Tabrisi which the writer of the article points out by titles such as: Understandability of the Qur’an, the interiors of the Qur‘an, undistortability of the Qur’an, and its extratextuality.
