In this writing, the writer has taken a comparative look at the tafsir “Majma’ al-Bayan” of Tabrisi and various hermeneutics schools and indicated their similarities and differences. Similarly, he first compares Tabrisi’s definition of tafsir from his viewpoints with the viewpoint of hermeneutics about tafsir of the text and then reviews subjects like axial text, author-centeredness, multimeaningness, the final and definite meaning, normative and artistic tafsirinthese two sources and finally studies the role of context, culture of the time and the occasion of revelation, the Arab lingual culture and their beliefs and preconception in tafsir from the viewpoint of Tabrisi and compares them with dada from hermeneutics.
