al-munir is a newly written exegesis of the quran by dr.wahbah zuhaili, welcomed by quran researchers. in this article the writer of the exegesis is introduced and his motivation of this work, a brief introduction of the exegesis and its exegetical proce dure is briefly reviewed. finally, the trend of the exegesis and various references are introduced and its superiorities and deficiencies are recounted.
