This writing delves into the quiddity and goals of education from the two in-religious and out-religious viewpoints as well as the concept and application of education in the holy Qur'an. The ontological and humanistic foundations of education, which consist of such components as unity and oneness of the origin and the end of creation as well as sending down Divine instructors in the ontological domain; and inner nature, dignity, and human will in the humanistic realm, are introduced and identified as fundamental Islamic and Qur’anic factors and components. Similarly, the main and fundamental goals of education from the viewpoint of the Qur’an are viewed from different physical and intellectual perspectives; as human perfection is introduced to be achieved through proximity and devotedness to God and, in other words, by becoming God-like.
