Abstract

One of the major concerns of mankind is financial poverty which frustrates their soul and on some occasions impedes their natural course of development. The present article reviews the skills that the Qur'an has presented for overcoming one's financial poverty (e.g. tolerance of poverty and liberating from its natural and normal outcomes).
The writer maintains that since hardships and predicaments are inseparable from human life, man is forced to utilize the three (cognitive, behavioral, spiritual) skills proposed by the Qur'an to overcome financial poverty, as failure in attaining these skills would jeopardize one's mental health and faith and prevent them from their natural course of development.
