Abstract

The religious culture of Islam is reflected in the divine book of the Qur’ān, a book that claims it presents transcendent aims and ideals to bring felicity in human's individual and social life. This book has paid special attention to stating transcendent norms and values. From this perspective, a utopian Islamic society is the one which can pave the grounds for meeting such transcendent norms and values for Muslims and thereby it can guarantee their worldly life and afterlife felicity. Clearly, establishment of desirable religious norms and values in Muslim society depends on some negative and affirmative conditions and factors that any indifference to these factors and conditions would not only end in making trouble in fulfillment of religious culture, but also would facilitate the entrance and admission of the patterns which are in obvious contradiction with the Islamic intended values and norms. This paper attempts to study the grounds and factors which impede the fulfillment and spread of desirable norms as approved by Islamic sharia and to investigate the factors which result in conforming to Muslim society norms.
