This writing deals with various types and ways of utilizing the theological sources in the Qur'an. The writer studies the utilization of theological sources on three bases: 1. proving that the Qur'an is source, 2. delineating the dominion of the verses of ordinance, and 3. developing the methodology for drawing inferences from the Qur'an. He deals, in the meantime, with the traditionists' viewpoints concerning the Qur'an and using the conventional procedures and the tradition of drawing inferences from the Qur'an. In the end, he touches upon development of a method for comprehending theological fundamentals from the Qur'an.
