This writing is studying the indices of Prophetic ethics from the viewpoint of the Qur'an. Inspired by the Qur'anic verses, the writer draws the conclusion that Islam, with its consideration of man's spiritual need for adopting models has provided superior human and Divine models, and introduced Divine Prophets, especially Prophet Abraham and the Noble Apostle of Allah, as the most superior human models. The Holy Qur'an, in a synoptic and comprehensive description, considers the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) as the possessor of sublime morality and open-heartedness, which both initially refer to His Holiness' social ethics; and in various parts of the Qur'an references have been made to its external and partial evidences. The writer believes that sincerity, humbleness, tolerance, altruism, respect for others, mercy, and firmness are among the most important indices of the great Prophet's social ethics in view of the Divine Revealed Word (the Qur'an).
