Abstract
Undoubtedly, all textological studies in the Islamic culture have been carried out in the light of the Qur'anic text. The efforts made by rhetoricians, writers, critics, and poets to understand the Qur'an and rhetoricians' and theologians' research on inimitability revolve around the text of the Qur'an. The Holy Qur'an, as a text, especially a literary one, has shown enormous potential for forming text-oriented research in the Islamic world. This has always raised questions for researchers. Those researchers, especially textologists and those interested in text analysis, have paid particular attention to the Qur'an as a text. This approach to the text of the Qur'an is based on the principle that the Qur'an has a text's characteristics.This article approaches inimitability from a textual perspective. It suggests that the text of the Qur'an is unique and has its mechanisms. Understanding that this text is incomparable in the Arab linguistic tradition is only possible through textological studies
