In addition to expressing logical and rational arguments with a judicious approach, the Holy Qur'an also uses emotional expression to convey religious concepts and teachings. This style of speech includes various types of emotional words in the revealed word that have been used many times; sometimes with explicit words and sometimes through a specific style and context and indirectly. Using emotional expression in communication with the addressee leads to greater impact and in many cases to stimulating and encouraging him to do something or accept the content of the speech. Recognizing emotional types and the appropriateness of their application in different verbal capacities will lead to a better understanding of the text and the desired outcome of the speaker. Through creating emotional dialogue in the Holy Qur'an and using a wide range of basic and complex positive and negative emotions, God Almighty has expounded various teachings that show the special status of emotional discourse in the revealed word. This research, by examining the emotional vocabulary of the Qur'an and only in the form of six basic emotions (positive emotions of love, joy, hope and negative emotions of sadness, fear and hatred) and by semantics of the concepts of the words and analyzing the content of the verses of the Qur'an, deals with the typology of emotional vocabulary of the Holy Qur'an and identifies the basic topics that are effective in explaining the doctrinal teachings of religion.
