The element of character reflects the author's thoughts and emotions, examining this element in Quranic stories helps us to reach the goal of excellence. On the other hand, single-verse stories are considered because they are very brief; This research investigated the ways of characterization in single-verse stories with the descriptive method and content analysis, and extracted the frequency of each one and the techniques used. For this purpose, the definitions and classifications of the character have been presented first, and the single-verse stories in two areas of character types (main, secondary, static, dynamic, opposite and opposite, kind and...) and Characterization techniques (direct and indirect description: dialogue, action, staging, naming) have been analyzed. The results of the research show that the use of characters is often very limited in such a way that some are formed with only one main character, while others, in addition, an opposing character or secondary character are also observed; The characterizations are indirect, and this method depicts the character more realistically, which definitely has a greater impact. And among the various techniques of indirect characterization, dialogue, action, naming and describing emotions respectively have the highest frequency.
