Translatability and intranslatability of the Holy Qur’án is one of the most debated issues among Muslim scholars. Being an ambiguous phrase, it may refer to the legitimacy/illegitimacy of its translation from a religious point of view, or indicate the possibility/impossibility of its rendering to another language. This article has touched the issue from a linguistic outlook.
