Emphasizing on contemplation of āyāt (Qur'anic verses) and the importance of thinking deeply over the Qur'an, the writer delves into āyah 186 of the Sūraht al-Baqara and introduces epistemical and ethical points and messages on the bases of: the significance of prayer; the significance of appeal; a servant's duty toward Allah; and the proximity of Allah to the servants. In conclusion, he explains the statistic features of the words of the āyah and examines the status of du‘ā (prayer) in traditions.
