This article deals first with the historical background of family, relatives, and their type of interaction from the two out-religious and Qur'anic viewpoints, and then goes on to explain the perspective of the Qur'an concerning the role of relatives in strengthening the foundations of family. In this respect, the article examines the legal and ethical approach and undertakes to study such areas as finding an equal spouse, perseverance, independence, and reconciling tense relations.
